My life’s journey led me to leave my country of origin and come to the US to follow my life’s purpose. That was more than twenty years ago.
In order to explain what I do, I’d like to tell you about a struggle I once had. A couple of years after arriving to this country and undergoing a transition process I found myself unhappy with my life. I was dissatisfied with my romantic relationship and with my job as an accountant in the corporate world.
I started to look around to see what help was available for somebody like me. As often happens I knew I wanted to create positive changes in my life but did not know how and where to begin. A friend recommended her therapist to me and later on I found a therapy group. After a few months of both individual and group therapy I began feeling a sense of possibility and hope. I realized that I needed to be on my own for awhile to become the partner I wanted to meet.
And what happened was that after a couple of years developing myself in therapy I met my true life partner. Also, by that time I already learned many tools that helped me and my partner sustain a loving, passionate and growth-promoting relationship over the last 15 years.
When I saw the difference that therapy made in my own life I decided to go back to school and get a degree in counseling psychology. I am a graduate of JFK University and a licensed psychotherapist.
I have helped many men and women of different backgrounds, ages and spiritual orientations to achieve personal and professional satisfaction in life. From my own experience I know that it is possible to move beyond most painful experiences in life and to create abundance of every kind.
